Mr. Hopkinson is the founder of Personal Defensive Tactics and serves as the Director of Training. He provides Personal Self Defense Tactics and Training to High Net worth Individuals and the family office. He is a nationally recognized Law Enforcement and Defensive Tactics Trainer. He received his Facility Security Officers training from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point.

​Mr. Hopkinson is a FBI certified firearms instructor, a New York state certified firearms and NRA instructor. He is the former lead instructor for MSA Security, a leading Counter Terrorism and Explosives Detection company in NYC, where he taught Security and Counter Terrorism to employees of Rockefeller Center and numerous other fortune 500 companies. He holds certifications in various law enforcement, rescue and emergency management disciplines from the FBI, DHS and FEMA. Mr. Hopkinson is a charter member of ILEETA (International Law Enforcement Educators & Trainers Association) and has numerous other industry related affiliations.
